The Pantry, which supplies food to families in need, is just one of the community services provided by Friends in Deed. Help them restock the pantry shelves this winter.
but I did raise a set of three orange cat siblings from birth: Stinker, Daphne and Curly. I learned how to be a mother by getting up for 2 a.m. feedings, warily watching their first attempts at independence as they toddled out to the patio and dealing with their teenage risk-taking behaviors such as daring the dog next door to jump over the fence and climbing a tree so high they were too scared to come down by themselves.
